My background

I graduated as a medical doctor in 2015, choosing to follow my interests in using technology to improve access to healthcare and non-drug approaches to mental health, rather than entering clinical practice.

I first came across IFS in 2019, and found it an extraordinarily effective  and approachable model for emotional wellbeing. Seeing the transformational power of the model first hand I chose to train in it in 2023.

I also have a 20hr foundation certificate in trauma sensitive yoga (TCTSY) & 15+ years of personal experience with meditation that I bring into my work where relevant. I have explored other forms of therapy including CBT, DBT, EMDR, Psychodynamic, Person-centred & Somatic Experiencing. Whilst I am not trained in them and do not specifically use these methods, they inform aspects of my work.

Outside of the therapy space I can be found working to improve access to mental health, surfing, snowboarding, hiking, reading, and learning  about the natural world.
